Josh Abel

My Story

Josh is a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. With a long-standing passion for science and a commitment to helping others, Josh has been a dedicated tutor of STEM subjects for several years. His decision to join Flavourful Science was a natural step, as it perfectly blends his love for science with his dedication to inspiring the next generation of curious minds.

In his free time, Josh enjoys playing all kinds of sports including volleyball, basketball and soccer- his absolute favorite. His fascination with science is further emphasized in his work as a research assistant, where he contributes to studies on mosquito feeding behavior in order to find solutions to prevent vector-borne diseases. This experience has not only honed his research skills but also solidified his commitment to making a meaningful impact through science.
